Guaranteed Ride Home
The Guaranteed Ride Home (GRH) program acts as an insurance policy for employees, ensuring they are not stranded at work. It provides transportation in cases of unexpected emergencies or if an employee misses their bus due to unplanned overtime.
What is it?
Who is eligible?
Employees who work in Park City or surrounding areas of Summit County and commute by means other than driving alone are eligible for the Guaranteed Ride Home (GRH) program.
Participants may use the program up to six times per year or receive up to $250 in reimbursement annually, whichever comes first.
How does it work?
GRH participants typically use a taxi or ride-hailing app to get home. After the trip, they submit a Reimbursement Claim Form along with the receipt. Reimbursements are issued by check through the mail within 30 days of submission. While tips are encouraged, they are not reimbursable.
