SELF HELP CENTER

The SHC offers free guidance for individuals without legal representation in Utah. Staff help users understand court processes, prepare forms, explore legal options (like mediation or referrals), and connect with legal resources—but do not provide legal advice or court representation

  • Open Monday–Friday, 11 am–5 pm for email, phone, and text assistance. Staffing levels may vary and it’s recommended to review online resources before calling

    • provide information about mediation services, legal advice and representation through pro bono and low cost legal services, legal aid programs and lawyer referral services

      • provide information about resources provided by law libraries

       

    • The SHC cannot give you legal advice or represent you in court.

    • The SHC attorney is not your lawyer.
